Brisbane’s First Photo Marathon

Ready, set, go! Get ready Brisbane photographers there is a new photography competition in town with great prizes up for grabs and Goal Zero is joining in the fun!

Photo Mission Australia has announced their inaugural 24 Hour Photo Marathon, located in the heart of Brisbane City. This 24-hour photography challenge will task its participants to complete up to 24 different photography briefs, over the space of 24 hours. This event will run from 12pm Saturday 14th to 12pm Sunday 15th October with the check point being located at Reddacliff Place just outside the Treasury Casino. At the checkpoint you’ll also find a Yeti 1250 ready to charge any cameras, phones and other devices  plus we’ll have a range of gear on display. We’ll even have a Goal Zero mission as a bonus entry option with a Venture 30 up for grabs as a prize!!!

This event is being held in conjunction with the Brisbane City Council and is open to all participants from novice to enthusiasts and professionals. Entrants can use any digital camera device with three categories, prizes for each category   Briefs will be received by the participants on an hourly basis for each of the photographic tasks.  The Brisbane 24 Hour Photo Marathon will be run in conjunction with the Brisbane City Council and the Lord Mayor’s Photographic Awards.
